A city of joy – Calcutta

leave a comment »

Hello my friends,

The name Calcutta was derived from Kalikata, one of the three villages whose lands became a part of this new settlement.

A city of love and warmth, sorrow and despair, dreams and hopes, poverty and squalor, grandeur and glory. Calcutta is compelling, effervescent, teeming with life and traditions a medley of moods, styles cultures, politics, industry and commerce.

There is so much to see in this incredible city. A million people from every corner of India stream across the massive Howrah Bridge.

India is a vivid kaleidoscope of landscapes, magnificent historical sites and royal cities, misty mountain retreats, colourful people, rich cultures and festivities.

The density of population in Calcuta is extremely high, about 4.580.544 hab. The special thing in Calcuta is its people.

People with precarious situations struggle hard to get on in life with happiness.

Calcuta’s experience will encourage you for….

“ never to be angry because the archives of the hard disk have been deleted in the office ”

Anyone who has lived here can never be happy anywhere else in the world.

Nice happy day !

Mireya
