Africa at the Olympics Games in Beijing 2008

This week  is speaking about the Olympics Games, it is exciting but  you know that… The opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games began in the National Stadium, also known as the Bird’s Nest, in north Beijing.

Africa is well represented at the Olympic Games in Beijing. Every African country will be following its own medal hopefuls.

Kenya is one of Africa’s most successful sporting nations in the world and their Olympic squad is made of almost 80 members including 36 athletes.

Examples 2008 Gold Medal Winners Countries at the moment  – Cameroon, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tunisia, Zimbabwe etc..
