leave a comment »

Good Morning entrepreneurs,

I want to dedicate my post today to speak about the fabulous book of Half the Sky, in which the winners of the Pulitzer Nicholas D.Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, offer a poignant journey through Asia and Africa through the story of women who are changing the world after have been victims of  violations of their rights.

Three  of these women are from Ashoka . This organization  is leading a profound transformation in society.

Women hold up half the sky is a Chinese proverb, however, is above all an aspiration : In much of the world, the girls are uneducated and marginalized, and it is no coincidence that those same countries is where there is the  poverty  disproportionately and chaos.

” If  ever you wondered if you can change the world”

Best regards,

Internet and the new economy

leave a comment »

Good Morning friends, how are you?

With my first coffee of the morning  I was thinking about the relationship of the Internet and new economy.

What is happening in recent years? That almost all the inner workings of a business, relationship with suppliers and customers is being done by the network. As well as the transformation of the functioning of the capital,as schematically the center of global economy is glabalized financial markets that operate through connections between computers.

This is the aspect of the new economy it is true that the development  of the uses of the Internet begins the first in those high-tech companies but from there it spread rapidly to all types of businesses by creating a new model of corporate organization.

But information and knowledge through the network does not arrive at the same tiem to all countries, this is the case and that 15.6% of the world’s people are connected to the Internet.

We emphasize that LatinAmerica  was the fastest growing in the last four years in which Internet accesss is concerned. The penetration of global Internet population in Africa 4.7%, Latinoamerica/Caribe 41.7% y Asia 12.4%.

– Actually for the development of a country is important to the development of new technologies –

“School must change its traditional teaching towards a model designed to develop competencies and skills in digital literacy and collaborative work”

Good Morning friends,

How are you?  with my first coffee of the morning I was thinking about Obama’s visit to the headquarters of Google  in Mountain View California, which took place some months ago.

The words of democrat were ” Help Me to do it, Help Me to change the world, in the same way that Google has done”.

Obama stated the importance of technology and innovation that has changed the world.
His attempt to reach the technological revolution to all parts of the world to facilitate a future of prosperity.

Among the objectives is that Africa and parts of Asia will have the possibility of connected to the network.  More than half of the donations from Google employees have been for political Obama.

“Need to improve technologies in developing countries”

Best regards,
