The book “Half the Sky” about women around the world

leave a comment »

Good Morning entrepreneurs,

I want to dedicate my post today to speak about the fabulous book of Half the Sky, in which the winners of the Pulitzer Nicholas D.Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, offer a poignant journey through Asia and Africa through the story of women who are changing the world after have been victims of  violations of their rights.

Three  of these women are from Ashoka . This organization  is leading a profound transformation in society.

Women hold up half the sky is a Chinese proverb, however, is above all an aspiration : In much of the world, the girls are uneducated and marginalized, and it is no coincidence that those same countries is where there is the  poverty  disproportionately and chaos.

africaGood Morning friends,

In this morning …

The black continent has always attracted tourists.

The african continent is urgently needed stable source of employment , one of the options for the female employment will be through the establishment and improvement of small hotels throughout the geography of the African continent.

With the aim that African entrepreneurs have their own businesses with the development of small  hotels  in areas that already have a certain flow of tourists, places where people have shown willingness to travel.

Small hotels could generate jobs and wealth for the community.

Good Morning friends,

How are you? With my first coffee in the morning…

In countries with low income levels there are almost as many womens as men entrepreneurs.

Gem Women 2006 estimated that in the world for more than a third of the people who are involved in entrepreuneurial activity are women. The motivation for women entrepreneurs varies widely depending on whether we are talking about countries the main motivation for starting a business is usually “opportunity” in underdeveloped countries often “need”.

For the women who works and  knows a work environment is easier to be decide to make a business and undertake.

La participation of women in the labor force has increased in recent decades significantly.

Good Morning friends,

With my first coffee in the morning I was thinking …

Self employment is a real departure for many women, have an idea, develop it, will be a big help for you.

There are possibilities like microcredits and supports for viables and concrets proyects. The formulas for self-employment and business start-up are revealed as an effective alternative and a career of the future for women.

It is a formule for full integration into the labor market . Also, the choisi of life, beacuse being enterprising and entrepreneurial supposed to be the protagonist of our own future and life proyect.

We need to encourage countries in the entrepreneurial culture and the integration of women into employment.

Enterprising Women

enterprising-womenGood Morning friends,

With my first coffee of the morning was reflecting on some aspects the incorporation of women into the world of business.

The women of the world are very active in the business world. According to a study by the Center for Women’s Leadership Babson College in the United States, women account for 93% of world GDP.

The differents areas of the world shows that most entrepreneurial area is Latin America and the Caribbean,as well as the concept of  business increasingly linked to work rather than having to have training or not.

Entrepreneurial activitiy was higher in middle-income countries, where women contribute significantly to economic growth.

In a global women entrepreneurs in rich countries are more likely to get your business afloat than those who lived in countries with fewer resources.

The entrepreneurs women of middle- low income countries  have fewer opportunities than men that their business is maintained over time.

Good Morning friends,

How are you? Entrepreneurs with great ideas are able to reach out its entire proyect under difficult conditions, taking my first coffee of the morning I was reading history of this workshop geared to women with difficulties.

The original workshop is geared to women with family problems and poor in the province of Pisco (Peru), the hardest hit by the earthquake of 2007,accessories are made with fish skin.

Women go to the pier at dawn in search of the best marine examples. Await that species will be selected by a buyer, who only ask that they hand over the skins of fish, after being withdrawn.

They choose the skin of flounder, groupers, croaker, conger, rays and tollos,as well as tilapia and mulle. In all these cases we seek to keep the skin flakes, which will give you the perfect finish to the final product “explains the occurrence artist“, once selected furs are conducting a cleansing, then the beautiful skin go through a chemical solution that removes the particles, proteins, vitamins and fiber to prevent its putrefaction, but above all to eliminate the distinctive smell of fish.

Once these skins are worked used for producing hangbags, wallets, cases for eyeglasses, belts, wallets and shoes.

How are you? With my first coffee of the morning was watching videos of women entrepreneurs who fight  to do what they like.

Women with courage, believe in themselves, a principle not ever go away, the illusion of having begun.
Sometimes not have the best circumstances for to do a business project in Africa, India or Latinoamerica go forward, are women with an unbeatable spirit who would help generate wealth and create jobs in the region.

In these continents there are significant business opportunities in business creation will enable sustainable development in the continents
