The book “Half the Sky” about women around the world

leave a comment »

Good Morning entrepreneurs,

I want to dedicate my post today to speak about the fabulous book of Half the Sky, in which the winners of the Pulitzer Nicholas D.Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, offer a poignant journey through Asia and Africa through the story of women who are changing the world after have been victims of  violations of their rights.

Three  of these women are from Ashoka . This organization  is leading a profound transformation in society.

Women hold up half the sky is a Chinese proverb, however, is above all an aspiration : In much of the world, the girls are uneducated and marginalized, and it is no coincidence that those same countries is where there is the  poverty  disproportionately and chaos.

Good Morning friends,

This  time i have not time for writing .. ..so  sorry.
But today I am here again.

Collaborations is joined to development and knowledge sharing. Alliances in this world generate more knowledge and ideas to your project as well as wealth.

I was reading this morning the post about the agreement of the African Virtual University and the UOC who are working together in creating a campus for peace in Africa.

The African Virtual University was established as a World Bank like a project in 1997. In its 12 years of existence, the AVU has the largest network of open and distance learning ( open distance and e-learning de Africa).
The porpuse of this agreement is the production of teaching materials and the promotion and development of a virtual campus for virtual broadcast programs through the UVU partners, focusing on peaceful conflict resolution and poverty eradication.

Education and financing for the women in Africa

leave a comment »

Good Morning friends,

Education in Africa  and financing is very important for the  women’s.

The womens  play an important role in  the family economy of much of Africa, the inability to access the financial system has meant that many entrepreneurs started their current course through this system of funding. This is the case for the presidency of the World Association of Women Entrepreneurs ( FCEM). ( for example America latina )

Now be widely known as microcredit to start small business personal, family or co-operative and where women are often the main beneficiaries. As the institution the World Bank more representative of Women, founded by Ghana.

Education and development of microcredit for women contributes to the development

Good Morning friends,

With my first coffee in the morning …

Despite the crisis China will meet the objectives of its commitment to support the development of African countries and continue to encourage Chinese companies to increase their investments and business in Africa.

In recent years China has tripled trade with the African continent. The need for African natural resources makes the big powers like the United States, Europe and now the great emerging power of China to move to Africa.

Will benefit the African economy? This causes jobs to Africans?

The african continent, a continent rich in miniral resources and natural resources.

Mireya
